From Snowmen to Bunnies

It's looking a little more like spring and Easter on my front door step thanks to hubby making my little wooden bunny and some fake forsythia branches!

I know, I know, I'm not doing a very good job at posting something everyday of "Covid confinement"! Sorry! But, believe it or not, I have been surprisingly busy. Between small knitting projects, locating reading material, catching up with folks by phone and spring cleaning ….. my days have been full.
A few days ago I turned the last page of my book club book and realized I had nothing in the house to read! Yikes! I could resort to Indigo or Amazon and order one but, being the frugal person that I am, I decided to checkout the electronic offerings available from the library (since they are closed throughout the province). While it was slim pickings (I guess everyone has the same idea), I found one that looked good and loaded it on to my slightly dusty reader.

Keep busy they say ……. do some spring cleaning!

One of the recommendations that has been promoted to keep ourselves busy during these times of being stuck in our homes, is to get at some spring cleaning. I've been putting off doing a thorough cleaning of my wood floors ……. like move back all the furniture and get down on my hands and knees. Well I did it! It took a day and a half and I could hardly walk afterward! But it looks great! Too bad nobody will be coming to visit.

Clean floors! Hooray!

Sorry! These are the only "exciting things" I have to talk about today!

Coming up though:

  •  Netflix review of "The English Game'
  •  Having a virtual get together with your friends
  •  What to do with leftover scraps of yarn
  •  Video chatting live with folks from Spain!
